Dr. Darya Funches is a seasoned scholar-practitioner who is known for creative and cutting edge approaches to Organization Development practice. Her work contributes to accelerated methods of change and transformation to achieve breakthrough business results, developing visionary and transformational leaders, spirit in the workplace, and applying indigenous wisdom for sustainability and growth of organizations and communities. She has worked as an OD practitioner for over 40 years, using approaches that link culture, vision, innovative design, diversity, equity and use of self as means to achieve goals. Dr. Funches is the former Chair of the OD Network Board of Trustees, former Chair of the NTL Institute’s Board, and faculty of the Gestalt Organization and Systems Development Center. Dr. Funches is a well-known experiential educator who has taught the following courses in the AU MSOD program: Organization Development Theory & Practice, Consultation Skills, and Group Theory & Change Facilitation. Currently she is faculty for the Applied Research Methods course.
