Dr. Ozeren's areas of expertise are political violence, terrorism, cybercrime and online radicalization, disinformation, conflict resolution, the Kurdish issue, and Turkish foreign policy. He has worked collaboratively with NATO; the US State Department; the US Congress; the NATO-affiliated Centre of Excellence Defense Against Terrorism, and the UN Global Counterterrorism Forum (GCTF). His recent publications include a co-edited book titled “From Territorial Defeat to Global ISIS: Lessons Learned” (2021), which was published by NATO.
His opinion pieces and commentaries appeared in several media outlets, including the National Interest, Jerusalem Post, Al Arabiya, Reuters, Voice of America, and Sky News Arabia.
