Saul Newman's publications include Ethnoregional Conflict in Democracies as well as articles on nationalism, ethnic politics, and terrorism in journals such as World Politics, Comparative Politics, Ethnic and Racial Studies, Regional Politics and Policy, Politics and Policy,and Nationalism and Ethnic Politics. Presently, he is conducting research on the decline of settler nationalism in South Africa, Northern Ireland, and Israel and its impact on resolving disputes between settler and native nationalist movements.
