Disability Rights Law Clinic

The Disability Rights Law Clinic (DRLC) is a one-semester clinic in which law students represent clients in a variety of matters related to disability civil rights law. DRLC began operation in Fall 2005. Professor Robert Dinerstein founded the clinic. Caroline Wick is the current Acting Director.

Our Areas of Focus

DRLC student attorneys handle all aspects of a client’s case. Students learn foundational lawyering skills and grapple with applying the ethics rules to practice. Throughout clinic, we focus on how society and the legal system treat disabled people.
