Russ LaMotte practices in the area of international and U.S. environmental and products law at Beveridge & Diamond. He represents clients in matters relating to international environmental regulatory regimes and advises clients on multi-jurisdictional product compliance regulatory matters. Mr. LaMotte focuses on new and emerging technologies and helping companies devise global compliance plans to ensure freedom of action.

Before joining Beveridge & Diamond, he served for over ten years as an international lawyer at the U.S. Department of State, where he represented the U.S. Government in designing, negotiating, and implementing most of the major environmental and oceans agreements and initiatives.

Mr. LaMotte received his AB from Cornell University and his JD, magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School.
