Bio

Marc Sacks is a Trial Attorney with the Corporate-Financial Litigation Section of the Commercial Litigation Branch of the United States Department of Justice.  Mr. Sacks previously worked with the Commercial Litigation Branch of the Department of Justice from 1998-2005 (National Courts Section) and 2009-12 (Corporate-Financial Litigation Section).  Mr. Sacks has taught at the Department’s National Advocacy Center.



Mr. Sacks formerly served as an Attorney Advisor with the General Counsel’s office of the United States Agency for International Development (2012-15) and worked with the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (2005-09), serving as Legal Specialist in Morocco, Long-Term Legal Specialist in Jordan and Senior Program Manager of the Asia Division.  Mr. Sacks began his legal career at Kilpatrick Stockton LLP in Atlanta, Georgia from 1996-98.



Mr. Sacks is a High Honors graduate of the University of Florida College of Law (J.D. 1996; Order of the Coif), where he was Senior Articles Editor of the University of Florida Law Review.  Mr. Sacks previously attended Duke University (B.A. Public Policy 1993).
