American University’s Asian American Student Union will be hosting its inaugural AANHPI Gala, one of its largest events to this date. The Gala is a large-scale, cultural and professional event created to celebrate Asian-Pacific diversity and connectivity within the AU community and beyond. Aside from strengthening the presence of the Asian American community on campus and bringing awareness to the diversity and vastness of the Asian American identity, the purpose of this event is to provide a chance for students, alumni, and guests to build community at American University, both socially and professionally. Through performances, networking opportunities, a diverse array of food, and more, AASU will take steps to fulfill its role as a robust resource for AANHPI students in a connective and entertaining manner.
