Discover CAS Graduate Programs at Fall 2021 Virtual Open House

Join us from October 27-29 to learn everything you need to know for grad school

Join the College of Arts and Sciences for an exploration of graduate school during a three-day Virtual Open House, October 27-29! Each day will feature multiple webinars with Admissions Staff, Faculty, and other university representatives. Join us to learn more about our graduate programs and other opportunities within the arts and sciences. 

This event is free to attend. Learn more and get registered. All attendees will receive an application fee waiver. (Previously paid application fees cannot be refunded.)

Instructions for accessing Discover CAS Week will be emailed to all RSVPs by Monday, October 25.

Wednesday, October 27

  • 10-11 a.m. College of Arts & Science Welcome & Overview
    Join Assistant Dean Judith Stockmon for an overview of the AU's College of Arts & Sciences and our unique centers and resources.
  • 12-1 p.m. Arts Faculty Panel
    Meet with faculty members from the graduate programs in Art History, Arts Management, Audio Technology, and Studio Art.
  • 3-4 p.m. Humanities Faculty Panel
    Meet with faculty members from the graduate programs in Creative Writing, History, Literature, Philosophy, TESOL, and the Asian Studies Graduate Certificate.

Thursday, October 28

  • 10-11 a.m. How to Apply Info Session
    Join Assistant Director Jonathan Harper for a presentation on the graduate application process. A Q&A will follow.
  • 12-1 p.m. Social Sciences Faculty Panel
    Meet with faculty from the graduate programs in Anthropology, Economics, Health Promotion Management, and Sociology Research & Practice.
  • 3-4 p.m. Sciences Faculty Panel
    Meet with faculty from the graduate programs in Biology/Biotechnology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Psychology, and the Post-Baccalaureate Premedical Certificate program.
  • 5:30-6:30 p.m. Computer & Quantitative Sciences Faculty Panel
    Meet with faculty from the graduate programs in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics of Info Security, and Statistics/Biostatistics.
