Our 84-acre accredited and award-winning Arboretum and public garden is home to 385 species and varieties of woody plants, as well as over 3,000 trees. The healthy tree canopy—which improves air quality, reduces storm water runoff, provides wildlife habitat, and saves energy—reflects AU’s commitment to sustainability.

Staff will work with you closely to identify a meaningful location for your commemorative gift, which will be identified by a plaque. Donors may choose from existing trees and seating locations, or have their gift used for a new planting or bench. When naming an existing bench, your gift will be used to refurbish the item to like-new condition.
Your gift will enhance AU’s campus and become an essential and memorable part of the fabric of AU life.

Special opportunities exist to name a historic or rare tree.
Teak bench: $7,500
Wrought Iron bench: $10,000
