- He received a doctorate in business administration in Marketing from Harvard Business School and a BS in economics and in sociology from Duke University.
- Bio
- Professor Lee conducts research in digital marketing, language in social media, and word-of-mouth influence in consumer behavior. Current research topics include consumer-brand experiences in digital education, the detection of fake reviews, and expressions of influence in social media. His research has been featured in publications such as the Sloan Management Review, the Journal of Consumer Psychology and the Journal of Marketing Research, as well as media outlets such as Modern Advertising, The Financial Times, and The Huffington Post. Prior to joining American University, Lee served on the faculty at MIT Sloan and NYU Shanghai.
