Bio
Courtney successfully defended her dissertation for a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Higher Education at University of Nebraska-Lincoln in April, 2019. She has traveled the world with her husband and her 2 children and worked for the US Department of State in Beijing and Brussels. In her State Department roles she had the opportunity to work on Fulbright-Schuman, the US-EU Fulbright Program, and Fulbright China. She also has higher education experience in the US from Randolph College and Troy University. Courtney received her Master's in Higher Education Administration and Leadership from Drexel University. Her research has an international education focus, including international student mobility and transnational education.
