Atsuko Muroga is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Economics and Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. She is also a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for Benefit-Cost Studies of Education. Prior to her doctoral career, she worked for the World Bank where she was involved in various research and investment projects related to youth and education in Cambodia, Mongolia, Morocco, Iraq, Tunisia, and Vietnam. Her recent research interest includes early childhood education, child development, early reading education, wraparound services, and university-school-community partnership.
