Rachel Brown (she/her/hers) is an AUx Instructor & Advisor, coming alongside first-year students to guide them in their transition from high school to college. She loves listening to and learning from students’ stories and seeing how students can use their skills and strengths during their time in college and throughout their lives. Rachel is also a doctoral student in George Washington University's Higher Education Administration program. Before starting at American, Rachel worked in the Elon University Student Professional Development Center as a Career Advising Fellow. Outside of working with students, Rachel enjoys reading novels and poetry, playing guitar, and efficiently riding the metro.
