Director, Center on International Commercial Arbitration

International commercial arbitration today is a leading method for solving international commercial disputes and a thriving legal practice area that presents unique challenges and opportunities to practitioners across the globe. Here at American University Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C., the Center on International Commercial Arbitration offers a crossroads for international business and law by providing a high-level academic forum for exchanging ideas, educating students, and training practitioners on emerging issues in arbitration.

Part of the Center's mandate is to educate and train students and practitioners on emerging issues in the field of international commercial arbitration. In that regard, the Center oversees a variety of academic and extracurricular activities, including specialized course offerings, conferences and workshops, networking events, internships and professional development programming, research and publication opportunities, participation in related moot court competitions and online programs. As well, students and practitioners will benefit from the insight provided by the Advisory Board consisting of many of the most influential and highly respected practitioners in international commercial arbitration.

I hope you will take a moment to visit the Center's site for more information and consider joining us at one of our events.

Sincerely,
Horacio A. Grigera Naón
