The Office of Environmental Health & Safety administers environmental, health, and safety needs for American University and assists the campus in monitoring compliance with federal and local laws and regulations.
This office oversees the use of chemicals and hazardous materials and offers a range of safety resources to students, faculty and staff.

Investigations & Assessments
Environmental Health and Safety, in conjunction with Facilities Management, is responsible for investigating indoor air quality concerns on campus. To report an indoor air quality concern, please submit a 2Fix through the myAU portal.
