AU Game Lab at Tribeca/G4C Summit
American University School of Communication professor Ben Stokes released infographics and analysis with the AU Game Lab and Center for Media and Social Impact (CMSI) at the Tribeca/G4C Summit in NYC. Stokes and several others co-authored with Aubrey Hill.
“Countering Four Risky Assumptions” describes steps to reduce the fragmentation in the field of social impact gaming. Each of the “risky assumptions” in this new chapter of the Game Impact Project cuts across disciplines and design practices. The full report on Impact with Games now includes this new chapter, alongside updates to our initial research based on ideas received over the past year.
