Micah Yousefi, National Republican Senatorial Committee IE

Iranian American by heritage, Micah Yousefi is a first-generation American who has pursued a lifelong passion of elevating women to leadership positions for nearly a decade. Yousefi began in Congress in the office of Chairman of the House Transportation Committee Bill Shuster (PA-9). From there, she moved to the National Republican Congressional Committee where she served as Women’s Engagement Director. In this role, she facilitated and managed the Committee’s recruitment and development of female candidates for the House of Representatives and oversaw the development, structure, and programming of House Republicans’ women’s engagement efforts.

Following the 2016 cycle, Yousefi managed the run-off campaign of Congresswoman Karen Handel (GA-6), the most expensive race in House history at that time, with a staff of 30 and a budget of approximately $6 million. Currently Yousefi serves as Winning For Women’s Political and Policy Director where she is responsible for developing a slate of endorsed conservative women candidates, articulating and advancing the organization’s policy objectives, and managing the organization's Super PAC Independent Expenditures.

Prior to her time on the Hill, Yousefi served on the United Nation's 53rd Commission on the Status of Women as an NGO Delegate. She is an alumna of Notre Dame of Maryland University.

Yousefi spoke at the January 2021 training session.
