What was the most valuable thing you learned from WeLead?
I learned different skills for salary negotiations, networking, and I especially liked the session on public speaking.

What was your favorite part of the program?
The sessions on communications.

What advice would you give to the current WeLead class?
Be a sponge! Learn as much as you can, because you never know where life will take you, but you can apply everything you learned from the program at any stage of your professional career.

Any other thoughts on your WeLead experience?
It was great, and it's so fun to see how well all my classmates are doing in their careers.

Zimmerman designs legislative strategies and messaging on key policy issues for corporations, non-profits and associations. She has successfully lobbied at statehouses and the U.S. Congress. Zimmerman earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of South Carolina.
