Assistant Vice President for Retention, Thriving, and Student Success
Ashlie Prioleau, EdD (any/all pronouns) is assistant vice president of student success and retention. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Prioleau is an award-winning academic innovator focused on student success through equity, analytics, and tech. Prior to AU, Prioleau was special assistant to the senior vice chancellor of strategic enrollment and student success at University of Colorado Denver. She is founder of Brown Bridges, an agency dedicated to improving outcomes for marginalized students.

Michael Brown
Associate Director, Student Success Operations
Michael Brown is associate director of student success operations. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, he’s served in diverse higher education roles: registrar, director of financial aid, academic advisor, dance coach, and, most recently, as dean of students at Morton College. Brown’s service philosophy is “person first” because being a student is just one part of this experience, not its entirety.
