Intertwining Roots Collaborative Antiracist Scholarship in Environmental Studies

November 9 Book Talk | November 10 Research Workshop 

In partnership with the Antiracist Research and Policy Center, this two-part event to promote antiracist approaches to environmental work will begin on November 9 with a book talk, as David Vásquez is joined by co-editors Sara D. Wald, Priscilla Solis Ybarra, and Sarah Jacquette Ray for a conversation moderated by Malini Ranganathan about their award-winning volume Latinx Environmentalisms: Place, Justice, and the DecolonialOn November 10, these humanities scholars will team up environmental scientists, engineers, and social scientists from AU’s RECIPES project to host a workshop on collaborative writing, research, and grant-writing to support cross-disciplinary environmental justice research.
