Instructions for mail forwarding will be e-mailed to your AU e-mail address on or about April 15 and December 1. Following these procedures ensures that your mail will be forwarded to the proper address.
Changing Your Address
Under Academics (in the top bar of the portal), choose Registration. Then under Helpful Links, select Update My Address.
Be sure to remember to change your address back if you return in the fall.
Log into the myAU portal at https://myau.american.edu and click on Academics > Contact Information (Current Students) > ISA - Current/Local (make sure to change it back if you are returning in the fall). If you have questions about your address you can contact AU Central at 202-885-8000 or email@example.com.
- Students who remain on campus during the summer still must follow the above-mentioned instructions.
- Mail will not be forwarded to your home address during winter break unless you do not plan to return to campus for the spring semester.
- Mail Services will forward First Class mail for one year and Second Class mail for (60) days following your separation date from on-campus housing.
