We are thrilled to announce that Halal Shack and Baba’s Pizza are now open at Mary Graydon Center. Halal Shack is our campus’ first Halal-observant retail option, and our campus location is the first combined Halal Shack and Baba’s Pizza concept in the country. This new location is part of our plans to continue to improve our dining program.  

We are excited about this location for many reasons, the most important of which are Halal Shack’s mission to unite cultures and people through food and our work with the community last year to identify the need for a Halal-observant retail venue. We believe this brand fits well with our university’s mission and values of diversity, equity, and inclusion and will meet the needs we identified with our community.  

Halal Shack and Baba’s Pizza offer locally-sourced, humanely-raised meat and fresh ingredients-driven menu that features made-to-order bowls, salads, and pizzas. The menu includes vegan and vegetarian options, as well as those that avoid gluten. Halal Shack will accept Eaglebucks, the University Meal Plan, cash, credit, and debit cards. Meal plan holders will receive one entrée, one side, and one beverage.
