About Deputy Provost & Dean of Faculty

Mary Clark is Professor of Law at American University Washington College of Law and Deputy Provost & Dean of Faculty of American University. Dean Clark teaches in the area of Higher Education Law, Women’s Legal History, Legal Ethics, Judicial Politics, and Property and publishes in the fields of Women’s Legal History and Judicial Politics. Dean Clark has served as Interim Provost at American University, the Washington College of Law’s Associate Dean for Faculty & Academic Affairs, Doctor of Juridical Science Program Director, and Acting Director of its Law and Government Program.
