AU's Office of Procurement and Contracts selected Centric Business Systems to implement a campus-wide managed print program, which will streamline the print process, significantly reduce costs, and provide a full-time expert vendor technician to service all copiers and networked printers.

• Under the new program, each department will be charged a reduced monthly lease cost for its multi-functional devices (MFDs) and a reduced cost per copy/print produced for both MFDs and network printers.
• The billing will be handled centrally and costs will be allocated to each department's budget monthly, reducing the need to manage copy and print bills.
• Local (non-networked) printers have ceased to be supported, and are not included under this new program.
• All existing MFDs/copiers were replaced with an equivalent or better, new device from Centric.
