Celebrate your birthday with AU! Birthday Treats

Eligible first-year and transfer students will receive a complimentary Birthday Treat from The Bridge. On your birthday, look for a notification in the Swoop app. Then visit The Bridge on a Wednesday during operating hours and swipe your AU ID to redeem your treat. No coupon or app screen is required at checkout, just bring your AU ID.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is eligible?
Birthday Treats are intended for eligible first-year and transfer students.

When will I receive my Birthday Treat?
The reward will be added to your account on your birthday and will be available when you receive the notification in Swoop.

When and where can I redeem it?
Birthday Treats can be redeemed only at The Bridge on Wednesdays during operating hours as part of Thank Clawed It’s Wednesday.

What do I need to bring?
Bring your AU ID. You do not need to show the Swoop app or present a separate coupon.

What is included in a Birthday Treat?
Each Birthday Treat includes a celebratory cupcake and a special Bridge Café drink.

Will this use my EagleBucks?
No. Your Birthday Treat uses a separate, single-use account and will not deduct funds from your EagleBucks balance.

Can I redeem more than one treat?
No. Each eligible student receives one Birthday Treat per birthday allocation.

How long do I have to redeem my Birthday Treat?
Students must redeem their Birthday Treat by the last Wednesday of the semester.

What happens if my birthday occurs when The Bridge is closed?
Students whose birthdays fall during university closures, holidays, or academic breaks may redeem their treat early on the last eligible Wednesday before the closure. All treats must be redeemed by the last Wednesday of the semester.

Are dietary accommodations available?
Cupcakes will be provided by Rise Gluten-Free Bakery, LLC, which operates a 100% gluten-free kitchen and offers a variety of cupcake products. All items will be labeled with available allergen information.
