What is Academic Coaching?

In one-on-one meetings, learners work with academic coaches to identify and enhance academic strategies. Sessions are interactive and learners can expect to leave with a strategic action plan. 

Who can utilize coaching?

Our year-round services are open to all AU learners, undergraduate and graduate. 

Where does it take place?

Sessions are on Zoom. You'll receive an email with your Zoom link on the day of your session.  

How long are sessions?

30 minutes

How do I schedule an appointment? 

To schedule your appointment, click here.

Note: Your academic coach will e-mail you the specific details of your Zoom meeting on the day of your appointment.

How many sessions can I schedule in a semester?

You may schedule up to one 30-minute academic coaching sessions each week (Monday-Friday).

Depending on the focus, learners attend coaching sessions as often as once a week or as little as once or twice a semester. You can share with your coach what feels right for you.
