COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic on Campus Starting June 2

Dear Colleagues,

As we continue to prepare for the fall semester, AU is expanding our COVID-19 safety response to provide free vaccinations in Constitution Hall East Campus to serve our community. Beginning on Wednesday, June 2, District Urgent Care will establish a clinic to serve AU staff, faculty, students, contract workers, and their eligible family members, as well as neighbors wishing to receive the COVID vaccine who are ages 18 and older. 

The vaccine clinic will be available on Wednesdays and Thursdays this summer. Check the Campus Life COVID Vaccine information webpage for the District Urgent Care clinic dates and times.   

Vaccine Clinic for Ages 18 and Older

Dates: Every Wednesday and Thursday, 2:30 – 5:00 p.m. (during summer 2021)

Location: Constitution Hall, East Campus (same place as COVID testing)

Registration: Walk-ins only; second vaccine will be scheduled onsite

Individuals using the clinic will complete an information sheet and consent form; there is no charge

Vaccine: Moderna

Who is Eligible: All AU community members 18 and older

Do not come to campus if you have tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 14 days, if you are sick, or if you have symptoms of COVID-19.

AU staff, faculty, students, and contract workers are required to do the following if coming to campus for any reason:

  • submit a daily self-screening before arriving on campus; 
  • wear a mask/face covering; 
  • submit a COVID-19 screening test.

Family members and community neighbors should not come to campus if they have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days, feel ill, or have symptoms of COVID-19. They do not have to self-screen through AU, but are required to wear a mask/face covering.
